Recipe Roundup: SNACK Edition

With school in session, I always need ideas for healthy snacks. 
Feeding a body with healthy snacks keeps energy up and avoids situations with the
HANGRY MONSTER! 
My suggestion: Make several ahead of time for easy grabbing. That way, snacks are there when you need them.

 
Here are some of my favorite snack ideas:
WATERMELON PIZZA
Because watermelon gives you lots of hydration and it can be so easy to fix! Plus, who can resist anything that has the word 'pizza' in the title?
HOMEMADE ENERGY BARS
I love grab and go bars. But I don't love all of the extra sugar and fillers that come in most bars from the store.
HOMEMADE HUMMUS
Hummus is a great dipping option for vegetables like carrots, cucumbers and even chips. 
ALMOND BUTTER
Like to dip fruit? Here's directions on how to make almond butter without the extra oils and sugars. Yum!
